As students settle into another academic year and we return from a rest having taught seven weeks of teens visual creative classes over the summer holidays we wanted to reflect on the time we shared with our students.

The teens who enrolled at The Mango Lab this summer ranged in age from 12 to 17 and made their way from Spain, Italy, Germany, Russia and even Bermuda. Completing the groups we saw a very good attendance from UK residence which provided for a wonderful cultural medley of energetic youth who swapped stories, pictures and social media contacts. Julia Massey Stewart who leads the Teens School was very busy making sure that each student received quality attention and met their course goals.  Julia listened very attentively to voice of each class and directed the students towards a group goal that made the students feel very much in charge of their learning experience. We continue to receive feedback from students and parents and it always brings a smile to us to hear the positive nature of their time with The Mango Lab. As we move into the academic year of 2015/ 16 we continue to offer courses for the teen student. Our practical foundation courses in both photography, video and post-production continue to run through term and half term as do our topic specific courses. Please visit our Teens Autumn/ Winter 2015 course schedule here to see what is on offer.

Signing off from Summer 2015 we would like to thank all of our students for their enthusiastic and focused attention. It has been a terrific season and we wish you all the very best with your academic pursuits which lie ahead.
