Clever use of your camera and set up of intriguing subjects could turn into a viral meme!!!
But do you know how to do it?
Using your DSLR gives you so much potential with manual settings creating your visionary project.
The magic occurs when you stitch the images together, either in Photoshop to create gifs, or use a film editing programme such as iMovie, Premiere Pro or Final Cut. iMovie, and Premiere Pro, and Final Cut are the standard movie editing software we get asked about and will train you in. But if your computer has something different let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
Film editing software enables you to quickly present your still photography set to music! And this course offers guidance, training and creative input to build your imagery into a short film!
Learn, with clear step-by-step guidance in a fun and friendly environment, how to import images (or clips), align them in your film timeline, build and adjust the transitions (fade to black, dissolve, etc.), add effects (FX) such as spin in, page turns, and more, and set your movie to music (check out royalty free music if you want to publish online publicly), add titles, credits and more.
And your gifs from Photoshop you can upload to sharing sites…a meme in the making?!?!
A fast-paced course to introduce you to film and image editing platforms, with time to build your expertise and develop with help at hand – and complete your own project by the end of the week!
Course requirements and suggestions:
Bring your own laptop with the software already loaded, or use our computers.
Use your own images (or occasional film footage…) and we will be creating new images too! Loan cameras available or bring your own.
Please notify us if you are bringing your own laptop – we need to know which software version you have, e.g:
